WHAT DOCUMENTS ARE REQUIRED TO APPLY FOR A STUDY PERMIT?


Please note that not all applicants will necessarily require all of these documents.


Please provide as much information as possible in advance by either fax or mail.


Please send the original documents in order that they can be notarized for you.


Personal information for each person (applicant) over 18 years of age detailing:


• Complete schooling history

• Employment since 18th birthday

• Residences since 18th birthday.


For each parent, child and sibling:


• Full name

• Current address

• Date of birth

• Date of death and

• Marital status

• Four passport-size pictures

• Photocopy of passport (information pages only)

• Birth certificate

• Marriage certificate (if applicable)

• Separation agreement, child custody order (if you are under 16 years of age)

• Proof of assets and property. (Bank statements for previous four months. Proof of Canadian bank account in your name if money has already been transferred to Canada)

• Proof of education (diplomas, degrees, certificates, etc.)

• Letter from school you wish to attend indicating acceptance.

• Signed Study Permit Application Form (this will be completed and mailed to you later)

• Non-Refundable Government processing fees..
